The primary purpose of opening the training units is to create employment opportunities for disadvantaged women by providing them opportunity to learn basic skills in tailoring so that they would be able to start earning on their own and become economically independent.
Mr. Dilip Kumar Jha (Railway Police in-charge) officially inaugurated the vocational training unit in Patna District by cutting the ribbon. He applauded the efforts of Believers Church in reaching out to the poor and needy. He said that the need of the hour is to give due importance to the welfare of the poor and downtrodden. He also said, “The greatest love a person can have for another is to love the most poor and downtrodden. We as fellow citizens of this great nation must give ourselves to serve this nation and do everything we can to serve the poor and needy to establish justice, peace, unity, harmony and welfare for all communities.”
Mrs. Nisha Devi (Block Chief) inaugurated the tailoring unit located in Kaimur District. Speaking at the occasion she said, “Vocational training is just one of the endeavors through which Believers Church empowers the poor and needy women and help them become productive members of the society”. She further added saying, “This training would be a helping hand for women to stand on their own feet”.
The local women who attended the program were very happy that now they have an opportunity to learn a skill that would enable them to start earning an income in the near future.
