Sewing Machines and Solar Lights Distributed Among Needy Families in Diocese of Delhi

In an effort to help improve the living conditions of low-income families, Believers Church Diocese of Delhi distributed sewing machines and solar lights to 55 needy families on 27th March 2017.

The chief guests on the occasion were Mrs. Rosy Pandit (General Secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha) and Bishop Dr. Simon John. Bishop Dr. Simon John in his inaugural speech shared about the commitment of the Church in rendering help to the poor and needy people in Delhi and its surrounding places.

35 sewing machines and 20 solar lights were distributed during the program. The beneficiaries were more than happy to receive the gifts and they expressed their gratitude to Believers Church and its leadership.

“There is no electricity in my home”, said Anarkali (35 years old), a slum dweller. “I am so thankful to the church for gifting me a solar light”.
