Diocese of Bengaluru Plants 1,500 Saplings on World Environment Day

Believers Church Diocese of Bengaluru celebrated World Environment Day by organizing several programs on 5th June 2016.

To mark the day, the Bridge of Hope carried out tree plantation drives, clean-up campaigns and rallies. Through the plantation drive, the Bridge of Hope staff and children planted 1,500 saplings at different places like schools, colleges, hospitals, and road sides. They also distributed saplings door to door and encouraged people to plant the saplings and nurture them.

As part of clean-up drive, they cleaned the surroundings and many other places. They also took out rallies to draw people’s attention towards environmental issues and sensitize them on need for conserving environmental wealth.

Through these different activities they were able to spread awareness among the public about the importance of protecting the environment.

To be glad and proud to view these pictures ….really Believers church is doing great job by organizing programmes luke this ….infact it is motivating the inner spirit of a person …and not only that the fragrance of serving God and Humanity spreading rapidly all over to the unreached hearts and place…..
