1,500 Families Benefit Through Gift Distribution Program in Diocese of Odisha

Believers Church Diocese of Odisha organized a gift distribution program on 4th August 2015 to help the underprivileged people in a village.

Shri. Jacob Pradhan (MLA) was the chief guest of the program. He appreciated the church for the initiatives taken to help and empower the needy and the poor. He then distributed the gifts to each beneficiary.

That day, 1,500 mosquito nets, 38 bundles of tin sheets, five water pumps, three bicycles, nine sewing machines, 13 set of carpentry tools, 13 mason tools, 22 cows and 40 goats were distributed among the beneficiaries according to their need.

“During monsoon, water used to leak inside our house. We wanted to fix it, but we did not have money to buy tin sheets,” said Kalia Patra, a recipient. “Thank you for providing us these tin sheets. Now, I and my family can sleep peacefully even during monsoon.”

Believers Church cares for the needs of people and provides them with it through different distribution programs like this.
