Street Dwellers and Orphans Get Delicious Meal on Founder’s Day

Believers Church Diocese of Kathmandu organized a food distribution program in a slum on Founder’s Day, the birthday of Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan.

178 people including street children, orphans and the slum dwellers received food packets and they all expressed their sincere thanks towards the church.

“Thank you so much for the food. It was really delicious,” said Siri Darjee, a 9 year old orphan boy. “When I grow up, I also want to help others by giving them food just like this.”

Believers Church uses each opportunity to serve the poor, downtrodden and the neglected people in society.
