Diocese of Dhemaji Raises the Message ‘Each One Teach One’ on International Literacy Day

Believers Church Diocese of Dhemaji held an awareness program followed by a rally on International Literacy Day, 8th September 2014.

Women’s Fellowship members organized the program and its main theme was ‘Each One Teach One.’ Mr. Ghena Borah (College Professor) was the chief guest. He appreciated the church for offering illiterate people a chance to learn how to read and write.

Over 100 people from different places including literacy class students took part in this program.

After the program, they held an awareness rally also to raise the importance of education and its impact in society.

Believers Church envisions hundreds of thousands of people gaining the ability to pursue knowledge, make informed decisions and create a better life for themselves and their families through literacy programs.
