Old Widows Receive Winter Aid in Diocese of Kathmandu

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu held a winter aid distribution in a village on 27th December 2017.

On the occasion, the diocese distributed shawls and dietary supplement (Horlicks) to around 30 old widows. These women are very poor and they were so grateful for the winter aid which was provided to them to help survive the harsh winter months.

Expressing her gratitude, a ninety-year-old widow named Krishna Maya Gurung said, “I am so happy and thankful to you for your act of compassion. I had no warm cloth in this winter but you helped me. Thank you so much.”
