Sewing Machines Distributed to Over 30 Underprivileged Women in Diocese of Nagpur

On 28th March 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Nagpur distributed sewing machines to over 30 tailoring center graduates in an initiative to help the underprivileged women generate their own income and become self-reliant.

The distribution program was held in two places. Mr. Siddharth Vanjari (District leader, BRSP Party), Mr. Shalesh Patwardhan (from Nagar Parishad) and Mrs. Madhuritai Kolaskar (Sarpanch) were present on the occasion and distributed the sewing machines to the women graduates who successfully completed their six-month vocational training in tailoring.

The graduates received the sewing machines with joy and thanked the church for providing them a means to support their family economically.
