73 Poor Disabled People Receive Tricycles in Diocese of Bilaspur

On 12th December 2016, Believers Church Diocese of Bilaspur distributed tricycles to 73 disabled people living below the poverty line.

Around 150 people attended the tricycle distribution program held in a village. Inaugurating the event, the chief guest, Mr. Chunnulal Sahu (MLA) praised Believers Church for its commendable efforts in helping the poor and destitute in society. He said, “I want to thank Metropolitan and the leaders of Believers Church for their good works and helping the needy and handicapped people of the society by providing them with tricycles free of cost”.

The recipients were so excited to receive the tricycles, as this mobility aid will now make their lives a lot easier and happier. “I thank Believers Church for giving me a tricycle. It was much difficult for me to do many things due to my disability. But, today onwards I can move freely and go anywhere without having to depend on others for help”, said Mr. Ramkumar Banjare, a beneficiary.
