100 Poor Children Receive Blankets in Tezpur

As part of Children’s Day celebration, Believers Church Tezpur distributed blankets to 100 poor and needy children during a program held on 14th November 2016.

The event organized by Sunday School department of the diocese was held in a school where about 130 children and 50 mothers were present. The chief guests for the program were Mrs. Subarna Saikia (Child Development Project Officer), Mrs. Joshuda Devi (School Head Mistress) and Mr. Bhargav Bora (M.P.W).

The celebrations began with a flag hoisting ceremony followed by National Anthem and speeches from the chief guests. During the program, the children enthralled the audience by presenting colorful cultural dances and songs.

At the end, the chief guests distributed 100 blankets to children from disadvantaged families.
