400 Underprivileged People Receive Income-Generating Tools in Diocese of Vijayawada

July 25, 2016

In an endeavor to help the poor and needy come out of poverty, Believers Church Diocese of Vijayawada organized a massive gift distribution program on 25th July 2016, where income-generating tools were distributed to 400 underprivileged people.

Mr. Prabhaker Reddy (Ex-Forest Minister) and Mr. Silpa Chakra Pani Reddy (MLC and Telugudesam Party District In-Charge) were invited as chief guests for the program. While addressing the audience, Mr. Silpa Chakra Pani Reddy said, “I am amazed by the various initiatives Believers Church takes to empower the poor and needy in our nation. We live in a time where people are so self-centered and do not care about others, even their own neighbors, but to see Believers Church working for the welfare of the marginalized is very encouraging”.

At the end of the program, the chief guests distributed the gift items. Altogether, 400 people received the gifts including sewing machines, goats, grinders, power sprayers and push carts.
