Diocese of Agartala Gifts 112 Piglets on International Widow’s Day

Believers Church Diocese of Agartala helped 112 widows in six different districts on International Widow’s Day.

Shri. Radhacharan Debbarma (Chief Executive Member, Tripura Tribal Area Autonomous District Council) was the chief guest. He appreciated the church for taking effort to reach to the poor and destitute with help, even in the interior villages. He then distributed the piglets to each widow.

“Thank you so much for gifting me with this piglet,” said Sukini Debbarma, a widow. “Now, I can earn a livelihood using it.”

On International Widows Day, Believers Church organized similar programs and helped hundreds of poor and needy widows in society.
