Slum Dwelling Families Receive Blankets on Founder’s Day

On Founder’s Day, 8th March 2015, Believers Church Uttarakhand distributed blankets to 40 families living in a slum.

Rev. Fr. Japha inaugurated the program and distributed the blankets to each family.

“I used to sleep on the floor in a plastic sheet. But at night, it will be too cold and I don’t have blankets or bed sheets to escape from it,” said Banita, a beneficiary. “Thank you so much for giving me this blanket. Now, this will help me to stay warm.”

Believers Church organizes social welfare and community development programs and provides the needy and poor with their most basic needs.
