The rally was held under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Sabu and 200 people including Believers Church Minor Seminary students, Women’s Fellowship members, diocesan staff and the Bridge of Hope children took part in it. They also raised different slogans saying the importance of literacy day.
The same day, Women’s Fellowship members started two new literacy class units for women at two different places. In one unit, around 20 women enrolled already and started learning how to read and write. They also distributed literacy books among them.
Believers Church is committed in empowering and strengthening the neglected women in the society by providing them the opportunities to improve their skills and abilities.
