400 People Walk in Nellore Diocese’s Six-Kilometer AIDS Awareness Rally

Believers Church Nellore Diocese organized a six-kilometer awareness rally on World AIDS Day, 1st December. Four hundred people participated, including Bridge of Hope children, local church members and Believers Church staff.

Shri Malladi Vishnu (MLA) was the special guest of the event and started the rally by waving an AIDS awareness flag. Participants voiced slogans about the eradication of AIDS and distributed awareness literature as they went.

At the end, Rev. Fr. Varaprasad spoke to local people who gathered. “Let us join hands to eradicate the pandemic completely from the nation,” he said. He urged every citizen to render a helping hand to those who suffer with the stigma of the disease and accept them as fellow brothers and sisters.

Believers Church raised awareness among thousands of people in different locations on the occasion of World AIDS Day.
